I actually liked her; she's a good reflection of who I am and was at that age. She is a GREAT friend to PC and she's a true friend. PC is going to realize one day that is the type of person he should be in a relationship with and his chance will be gone. Plus, he's going to realize too late how great a friend Jessie is to him and doesn't want to use him for anything. PC acts "older" but I think his maturity level is probably the lowest of the whole group. Money can only take you so far, you are going to have to get out and do a little work to get something in life. I never had the disgust most people had for Jessie. At the same time though, I could understand why she would want PC there. He's her best friend and they are close, maybe she just needed the personal support because her job is intimidating and I don't really think she really knew anyone there like that; and it was a slap in the face to her that PC brought an entourage who brought attention to themselves in a negative manner. I totally agree about the whole thing that there would be fewer divorces in the country if it were that easy to fix things by saying "I'll do whatever it takes to make this right", because it's a good point. Maybe Jessie keeps letting PC off the hook because she really cares about him and maybe there's something more there...
