I must remind my students too many times that school must be a first priority. With that being said, I also notice that students that are involved in extracurricular activities tend to be more rounded individuals. I love to see a teenager have a passion for something. If Tyler is truly passionate about dancing, I think she should keep up with it. Perhaps she should cut something else out of her schedule.... Cole, perhaps? It gives you something to do to stay out of trouble. Weren't you guys in a lot of activities in high school? I'm on dance team, student council and I do community service. The only way I would say she's stretching herself too thin if it's really affecting her grades. I really don't think that is the case because she doesn't seem really focused on school.
