Now, I can understand why he would want Taylor to like his ex since he still talks to her, but wanting them to be friends is just too much. Still I think this was a crazy move motivated by a desire to have a happy relationship with Taylor. However, now we get to discuss the craziest thing that Cole has done to date… crashing PC’s party. Did he honestly think that Taylor would faint and swoon when he showed up at a party he was specifically not invited to? If it pissed Taylor off when she wasn’t there, it would have infuriated her had she actually been there. You have to wonder how sane someone is when they actually believe that embarassing their girlfriend in front of their friends is the key to romantic success. Especially when that person is as concerned with their social status as taylor is. Smart thinking buddy. So… Is Cole crazy or crazy in love? I am going to have to say he is just plain dumb. His actions show a complete lack of anything that might be classified as a thought process so in the end I think he is just goofy, but so much so it makes him look looney.

Poor Jessie. PC had no respect for her or the fact that she got a new job. I cannot believe that he professes to be her friend. I am not a fan of Jessie in general but I have to say that I honestly felt bad for her. That someone she loved and trusted did that to her really sucks. However, shame on her for letting him off the hook so easily!!! He completely screws her over and she forgives him because he says “I’ll do whatever it takes to make this right.” If that actually made things better there would b far fewer divorces in this country. Until Jessie actually makes PC pay for screwing her over he will continue to do it. One final point on Jessie… she is a really good friend. PC shows up and crashes her first day of work and her main concern is for him and that his new friends may be bad influences.

Now, some of you may be thinking that i have changed my mind about how I feel about PC, but that is not the case. PC acting the way he did was still great tv even though it was at Jessie’s expense. PC keeps saying he wants to change the direction his life is going, but it seems to me that he has picked the complete wrong direction. In contrast to Jessie, whose left is going right where she wants it too. I guess even though Jessie’ life plan is falling into place she still has a few things to learn… Like that guests of guests will inevitably bring guests (usually without asking).

Kelli:  Kelli’s singing career took off, she has several gold albums, but no platinum ones.  Why no platinum?  Kelli never got over being uncomfortable on the stage in front of so many people and was therefore unable to get a record deal with a major label.  So, what is a girl with a killer voice and stage fright to do… Go To Disney!!!  That’s right, Kelli is the singing voice behind many of the newest female Disney characters.  Why no Platinum albums, because Disney soundtracks don’t sell that many copies.

PC:  Well PC always said that he was ready for something new, but as the Rolling Stones said “You can’t always get what you want.”  PC is still living at his parents house (Billy Madison style) and is up to absolutely nothing.  He has never had a job and hasn’t had a girlfriend for at least a decade (hmmmm……).  One thing PC is good at is losing the Private Investigator that his parents keep hiring to  find out where he sneaks off to in the middle of the night.  However, our sources tell us that he frequents the house of an unnamed male model.  What are you up to PC?

Sebastian:  After three wives, three nasty divorces and uncounted torrid love affairs, Sebastian is doing well, though the same can’t be said for his wallet.   He still insists that he is the consummate player, but of course he always falls for the girl he is trying to play and ends up marrying her.  Of course, he then remembers that HE is the player, has an affair, gets divorced and she gets half.  Sebastian I have to ask… How much is half of a half of a half?

Jessie:  Of the NYC Prep kids Jessie is doing the best.  She is living the dream as the PR Rep for Michael Kors.  Her unrivaled work ethic and love of all things fashion have shot her strait to the top.  Of course, it isn’t all perfect in Jessie-land.  She is still waiting on her dream man to realize that he isn’t really gay and that he is actually in love with her. And i always thought that smart and dumb were mutually exclusive.   Oh well, I guess you can’t always have your cake and eat it too.

Taylor:  Taylor has actually found a way to put all of her skills to use… and yes, she is a licensed elephant trainer.  She is currently employed in Las Vegas as a member of Cirque du Soleil.  All those gymnastics workouts and dance lessons are really paying off.  And how lucky is it that her Cirque show has animals and, of course, she is featured with the elephants.  She and Cole are no longer together…Cole left her as soon as the cameras stopped following her.  I wonder how many elephants it takes to snag a decent guy in Vegas?

Camille:  Camille did get in to Harvard (quite easily actually).  But unfortunately, she had never really given much thought to what she wanted to do after college.  She graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts and set out into the real world.  She is currently between jobs and never really manages to keep one for long.  Maybe it has something to do with always telling people what they are doing wrong and calling them “abrasive.”  She is also without a boyfriend(due to her extremely high standards) but has been known to take men home for the unclarified “good time.”  Hey, as long as you know you are smarter than they are, who cares what they think!

Well, that wraps up where are they now?  Let me know what you think about my alternate futures for the kids or create some of your own.  I would love to know where you see one or all the kids in the next 10-15 years.  They can be funny/sarcastic like mine or you can tell me where you honestly think they will end up.

I know that PC is an asshole, but I have to admit, it is damn funny.  Now, don’t get me wrong people who go around asking other people whether or not they are virgins and spouting other people’s personal business are not cool.  But… on the other hand, if you are doing it to “stir the pot” as PC said, I think I can give you a pass.  I too, love to make people uncomfortable and when you can do it in a situation where it is already extremely awkward (as the dinner party was) that makes it even better.

Do Kelli and Camille have a right to be mad at PC? Absolutely!  If someone did that stuff at my dinner party, I have to think that I would be pissed.  Hang on you say… you just said that you love to make people uncomfortable and what PC did was hilarious and now you are trying to tell me it would piss you off?  Explain… Ok, I will!  For starters, it was NOT my dinner party, it was Camille’s, and as a fly on the wall (and not the host) I was, and still am to a certain degree, laughing my ass off.  Also, I would be pissed at the dinner party, but I think, no I know, that I would get over it.  (Which Kelli probably won’t because she is such a crybaby.)  I mean let’s be honest, the stories of that party that are going to be tol in a few months from now are going to be comedy gold… and I don’t care which chair you were sitting in.

I just want to wrap this blog up with one final point.  That dinner party was definitly the center piece of the episode and it would have been boring as shit if PC had not attended, or even if he had and he chose not to ask such personal and uncivilized questions.  All I know is this… thank goodness that PC doesn’t stand for Politically Correct!!!

However, after seeing the second episode I now see PC in a new light.  Allowing the show to film you in a therapy session was, in my opinion, very brave.  Not that I think that PC “needs help” but that is the connotation associated with someone going to a therapist.  This act has made me rethink my idea that he does things in order to look mas awesome to others.  No one who is overly concerned about what others are thinking about them would allow their therapy session to be filmed for all the world to see.  Even though the session did not reveal anything dark or deep, it was still a very gutsy thing to do.

Now, lets move on to PC’s need to end a life of casual sex.  I know in the podcast that I was making serious fun of PC for constantly talking about how he was over having casual sex like all the other kids in prep school, and I still maintain that it is hilarious how many times he felt the need to mention it.  However, if it is true, it is an admirable notion.  It does show a certain level of maturity on PC’s part (which at 18 it’s about time).  I mean, i was through with casual sex by 14… what took him so long.  All kidding aside, after the first episode I would have pegged PC for a real player.  Not in the amateur way that Sebastian is a player (”Hey, let me get your number”), but in a more mature way that still involved a steady string of ladies.  Though if his admonition that he wants a serious relationship is real I think it is worthy of some praise.

All in all, I think that what PC really wants to be is different.  He wants to differentiate himself from the “typical” prep school kids.  Whether it is by being a guy who is really into fashion or by not having casual sex.   However he chooses to do it I applaud it.  Being different is something we should all strive for.  Will I applaud next week, who knows.  This may be just another ploy by a talented bullshit artist to get us on his side.  Only time will tell, but for now I stand behind you PC.
