NYC Prep Teens & Their Schools
There seem to be a lot of searches coming into the site looking for the schools the NYC Prep teens go to. Well I don’t live in NYC and I don’t know them personally, but I did find a list of the schools they go to. This may not be a correct list, but this is what we have.
The schools did not want to be mentioned on the show, therefore we will hear no mention of the schools or see them at any school events out of respect of the educational institutions.
Does it bother you that school will not be a part of NYC Prep?

A Glimpse Inside Bravo’s NYC Prep
The show may be called NYC Prep but there won’t be any filming or even much talk about school in this Gossip Girl reality spin off. The schools didn’t give Bravo permission to film at school because they didn’t want to tarnish the image of the school with filming. And there’s something that we’re not accustomed to seeing in our regular Gossip Girl series, there’s a girl that attends public school.
I must tell you that I can’t wait to see this series because 1. it’s on Bravo and 2. these kids look just as rich, manipulating and ruthless as our favorite people on Gossip Girl. This is truly art imitating life. Plus, I think we all wonder if teens on the Upper East Side really act the same as Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen and here is our chance to finally find out.
I’m very interested in the young girl Taylor, 15, who attends a public high school. I wonder if she’s friends with all of them and if they accept her the same way. It will be very interesting to see just how mean teenagers are in todays world, especially when they are armed with unlimited amounts of money.
I’ve already mentioned before that TGAD is going to cover NYC Prep on the podcast. Here is another look at the show which starts on June 23, 2009 at 9:00 pm on Bravo.

The show is already creating a lot of buzz which means it’s already off to a successful start like the original Gossip Girl series. Bravo aired this half hour preview special so that you can get a glimpse into what is coming. I think I’m already excited for it. Watch it and tell us what you think because Dave already thinks it’s going to be boring.
